The adventure begins Friday morning at the Konzum supermarket in Pula, the perfect place to grab your food, drinks, and any last-minute items for your Weekend Sailing in Istria.

After a quick shopping stop, our friendly instructor will guide the group to the marina, where your Elan 331 sailboat is waiting. The skipper will provide a practical introduction to the boat, covering safety, equipment, and the itinerary for the weekend.

You’ll get a clear overview of what to expect—how to jump into sailing if you’d like, what activities are on offer, and how the next few days will unfold. With everything in place, you’ll set sail for Medulin, ready for a weekend that’s all about getting active, exploring, and enjoying the sea.

Medulin

Day 1

OVERVIEW

Your first full day of adventure begins as you set sail from Pula, diving into an active sailing experience to Medulin. From departure, you’ll have the chance to get hands-on, whether it’s maintaining the course, assisting with the sails, or learning the ropes under the expert guidance of our experienced crew.

Cruising along Istria’s stunning coastline, you’ll pass the breathtaking Cape Kamenjak, known for its rugged beauty and pristine shores. We’ll anchor in a tranquil bay, offering a perfect spot to enjoy the scenery and take a break before moving on.

Arriving in Medulin, it’s time to stretch your legs and explore. For relaxation, enjoy a coffee, a refreshing drink, or lunch at a local restaurant, combining exploration with Istrian hospitality.

In the afternoon, we’ll regroup and chart our course back to Pula. The return journey offers another chance to practice skills or simply enjoy the ride. In Pula, you’ll be escorted to your apartment to explore the center and recharge for tomorrow.

Rovinj

Day 2

OVERVIEW

Your second day of Weekend Sailing in Istria begins early at Marina Polesana in Pula, ready for a day of sailing and discovery. With fresh breeze and clear waters ahead, you’ll sail to Rovinj, one of the most beautiful towns in Croatia. From the start, you’ll have the chance to further improve your sailing skills or simply enjoy the dynamic pace of life at sea.

On the route to Rovinj, the journey becomes part of the adventure. You’ll see beautiful coastal views, explore charming Fažana, breathe in the sea air, and feel the freedom of sailing. Our skipper will point out local landmarks and share tips for your time in Rovinj.

Arriving in Rovinj, you’ll step ashore to Istria’s most iconic destination. With its cobblestone streets and colorful buildings, there’s plenty to discover. Look for authentic souvenirs,  enjoy a coffee in one of its beautiful squares, or enjoy fresh Istrian delicacies by the sea. For the active, walk to viewpoints for amazing photos.

After your day of exploration, you’ll rest in a cozy Rovinj apartment. The evening is yours to relax and enjoy the town’s atmosphere. Whether you take a quiet walk or experience Rovinj’s nightlife, you’ll end the day with a sense of adventure.

Brijuni Islands

Day 3

Your final day begins as you check out of your Rovinj apartment and sail to Brijuni National Park. This last part of the journey focuses on exploring and enjoying Istria’s natural beauty. While cruising, you can practice what you’ve learned or simply enjoy your final views of Istria.

At Brijuni Island, you’ll discover the wonders of the park. This special group of islands offers many ways to explore. Hike through green forests, bike on scenic paths, or visit historic sites that show its rich past. The park’s wildlife and unspoiled nature make a perfect backdrop for adventure, whether taking photos or finding hidden trails.

You’ll also have time for a relaxing lunch in nature. Find a nice spot, enjoy a cool drink, and take in the peace of this unique place.

No prior sailing experience is required.

Our professional instructor will guide you through everything, whether you want to learn the basics of sailing or simply enjoy the beauties of Istria.

You can cancel your booking up to 7 days before the departure, and you will receive a 100% refund.

You will not be refunded if you book 7 days or fewer before the departure.

Safety is our priority. In case of bad weather, we may adjust the itinerary, reschedule the tour, or offer a full refund.

We will keep you informed and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

On the first night, you will sleep in one of Pula’s apartments. On the second night, you’ll stay in an apartment in Rovinj, giving you a chance to explore the town in the evening.

You’ll have the opportunity to purchase your own food and drinks before setting sail. There will also be opportunities to enjoy meals at local spots in Medulin and Rovinj.

Group sizes vary, but we aim to keep the experience personal and engaging. You can book privately with your group or join a shared tour with like-minded adventurers. 

The maximum number of participants is 6.

The tour is suitable for active individuals aged 15 and up. Participants should be comfortable with moderate physical activities and spending time on a boat.

You should bring wind-resistant clothing, and non-slip shoes for our Weekend Sailing in Istria tour.
