Our Story
Why We Started Sail Istria
Sail Istria was started by two friends, Andrej and Anton. We’re both experienced sailors who absolutely love the sea and the amazing coast of Istria.
Before starting Sail Istria, we worked in travel for over seven years. We noticed that many tours felt the same, kind of boring, and not very personal. We knew sailing trips could be SO much better!
So, we decided to create something different: Sail Istria. Our dream was (and still is!) to share the real magic of sailing in Istria. We want to take you to secret spots, show you stunning views, and give you a sailing experience you’ll remember forever. We believe sailing is about fun, peace, adventure, and connecting with the beautiful nature around us.
